Lumaland 23 (2025)

Contact

Lumaland 23 presents a shoreline with gently rippling water treated through strong color shifting. The palette uses neon-like hues that move from yellow-green to magenta and cyan. The composition is largely horizontal, emphasizing layered bands of color across the water surface. The image plays with reflectivity, creating rhythmic textures that guide the eye from foreground to distant horizon. The horizon line is high, compressing the sky and giving dominance to the water’s surface. There is a contrast between smooth sky gradients and the finer granular texture of the water. The mood is calm but electrified by the surreal color scheme. Depth is suggested through scale reduction and diminishing contrast toward the background landmass. The overall effect blends landscape photography and digital painting with color science to create a dreamlike coastal scene.
